LatinFriends.com specializes in getting people together that are of Latin or Hispanic descent.  You can either look for a friendship or a relationship.  The sign up is free and you get a basic free membership upon joining.  You are also allowed to create a profile free of charge.  In addition to that, you are allowed to post photos to your profile.   

The Help/FAQ section of this site is very informative.  In the tips section, it talks about not revealing personal information when you’re just meeting someone.  Another thing it mentions is don’t get deceived by solicitation.  If you feel that’s happening to you, you should report it and stop talking to that person.

If you’re looking for platonic relationships, there is a section called “Circle of Friends” that you can create.  You can start inviting people to your circle to chat and get to know them better.   However, you are not allowed to invite everyone from LatinFriends.com to your group.  You are allowed to invite people to join LatinFriends.com. 

If you wish to upgrade, you can do so with a monthly fee.  When you upgrade to Gold membership, you will get more privileges, such as:

This site also has Latin forums and Latin blogs that you can browse.  You may be also able to hook up with people there.  The only drawback for this site is that there’s not a lot of information on the front page.  However, when you click the other tabs, you should be able to find what you want.
